2007 Oscar Winners – Scorsese wins big!

The Oscars have come and gone so it’s time to see how the TOG crew stacked up with our predictions. Out of the six main categories I grabbed the most points with 5 of 6, just missing the supporting actor with Eddie Murphy instead of Alan Arkin. Chris got four points and Jesse got three points. If you missed the show, it was great and now the wait is over for Martin Scorsese. He finally grabbed the Best Directing Oscar that he was so deserving of. The Departed took Best Picture also, making this the first movie to take the best picture award for Scorsese. It was a big night for The Departed and Martin Scorsese, taking Best Picture, Best Director, Screenplay and Editing.
