An Unfortunate Series

Do you like this post?

Netflix announced in the Fall that they will be taking the Bestselling Book Series, Lemony Snicket’s “A Series of Unfortunate Events” and creating a highly anticipate new Netflix’s Original Series.

On Sunday, a YouTube user “Eleanora Poe” posted a teaser trailer for the new series called “An Unfortunate Trailer.” The teaser has already gained 1.3 million views since it’s posting.

According to Variety Online

The teaser didn’t come from Netflix, according to a rep. “This was not released from Netflix and not anything official,” she said. The rep did not say whether Netflix would seek to have the clip pulled down.

Despite the fact that this trailer is a “fake,” it was very well put together and had sparked a lot of excitement regarding the upcoming series. I was very impressed with the content and I recognized a lot of elements from the 2004 film starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2004 film and the book series is absolutely phenomenal.

I hope you enjoy the teaser trailer and I can’t wait to hear more news from Netflix regarding casting and hopefully an official teaser and release date will be coming our way soon.

Until then why not reread or start reading the book series and watch the movie again.
