Posted by Marvel Studios has released a third trailer for their highly anticipated, summer spectacular, Avenger’s: Age of Ultron. In case you have not seen it yet, here is your chance.
After viewing this trailer countless times over the last several hours, I decided to provide some insight and perhaps my own theories of what I have seen so far. Please be warned, the following is clearly fan speculation. I do not claim that any of the following information is fact.
Wanda Maximoff Turns The Team On Itself
There are several scenes throughout all three trailers that show Avengers fighting themselves. Now, while I believe that Tony Stark deserves to get his ass beat by the , I believe that something else is going on behind the scenes. Also, I know that Joss Whedon thought seeing the Hulk pummel Ironman in his “Hulkbuster” armor would look amazing on screen.
In the scenes that I have seen, it appears that Wanda has taken control of the team member’s minds. The story is all in the eyes. In trailer two, Hulk had red-ish brown eyes. In this newest trailer, we see Natasha having her mind tinkered with and guess what? Red eyes!!
Later in the trailer, we have a scene showing Thor choking Tony Stark. It is possible that he is being controlled in this scene. Although, I believe this takes place shortly after the introduction of Ultron and Stark revels that he was the one that created him.
Quicksilver Is Going To Be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!
Seriously, why would he not be? We got a glimpse of something cool from Fox when they introduced us to their version of Quicksilver. This version however is being created by the mighty MARVEL! Just watching this trailer, I can already tell that he is going to be a major part of the story and is not going to be used just for the sake of being used. I can also tell we are going to get some really spectacular fight scenes between him and the other Avengers. Just look at what he does to Captain America.
Infinity Stones Are Going To Be Part Of The Story
Over the course of ten films, we the audience have been slowly introduced to the Infinity Gems. These six gems, when brought together, would grant the owner limitless power. Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, and Guardians of the Galaxy all contained one or more of the gems. We all know that the third Avengers film is going to be titled “Infinity War” and, if all is true, should feature Thanos possessing all of the gems and causing havoc for our heroes.
I mention that because I want to remind everyone that this is the act II of a three part act. Our heroes are going to get introduced to the idea that these gems exist and that there are enemies that seek their power. I feel that Ultron will learn of these gems and will seek the power himself or will use the power to control minds or perhaps a single mind. I have a theory that when Jarvis is turned into Vision, he will be controlled by Ultron using the Mind Gem. Loki staff is being touted as the mind gem by fans. The following screen captures make me think that Stark recovers the staff either while being controlled by Wanda and is forced to give it to Ultron or he finds it and it gets taken from him.
Ultron will then remove the gem from the staff and use it on Vision, hence the yellow stone on Visions forehead in the last shots of the trailer. This is will lead to the Avengers learning about the existence of these Gems.
Other Cool Scene And Random Thoughts
We are going to get a lot of fan service in this film. I mean a lot! From land marks like the Avengers Tower to Countries like Wakanda, I know that this movie will not disappoint. There will even be cool group shots of our heroes fighting together.
We will also see Wanda (and I am sure Pietro) join the Avengers by the end of the film. Here is a picture of the Scarlett Witch fighting along side of her new teammates.
There are two scenes in the trailer that I am not quite sure what is happening. In the first scene, we see Natasha and Bruce in what appears to be an intimate scene. At first, I thought that maybe Natasha has fallen for Bruce but I know that is probably not what is happening in this scene. After all this is Joss Whedon.

I believe that this after Scarlett Witch messes with her mind. Natahsa is either being controlled here to get close to Banner to set off the Hulk. Another theory I have is that this is in fact Wanda as Natasha trying to manipulate Banner. This could be how the Hulk gets controlled by Wanda.
Finally, my last thought. I know everyone believes this is nothing, just one of Ultron’s soldiers. When I saw this trailer the first time, I saw this scene and thought nothing of it as well.
Upon consecutive viewings however, I feel that there is something more going on here. That is one character in the back of a semi while Ultron and Cap fight above. Is this Ironman? I doubt it due to him just standing there not assisting in the fight. Is it Vision? Possibly, although the entire body looks metallic. I noticed that the street sign is not an American sign. It does have what appears to be foreign text on it. It then came to me that this was possibly Black Panther (rumored to be in the film). I may be completely off base here but I thought wouldn’t that be awesome if we just got a tease of what the character looks like?
