Just under a week to go, for what is undoubtedly going to be this summer’s biggest blockbuster, and we’re all wondering who is actually going to steal the show in Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron. If it’s anything like its predecessor back in 2012, it probably won’t even matter as everyone in that film had their equal, yet crucial amount of screen time. So the question poses: How does one, Joss Whedon, top an already huge mega-blockbuster, like Avengers? The answer is quite simple: HULK, HULK and more HULK! Kidding aside, the formula is already there. Bring back the ol’ gang, add some new kids from the block ( not the group ), and introduce a new bully, of the robot kind. So lets meet the cast, shall we.
Chris Evans is back as your favorite soldier boy and he’s not playing games. No more aliens to fight this time around, but he’s going to need all the help he can get, if he’s going to lead a team to save the world. Are you ready to enlist?
Where would Iron Man be if we didn’t have Robert Downey Jr? He apparently is partly to blame for the events that unfold with this new A.I machine that wreaks havoc unto the world. We can’t wait to see his new armor and gadgets.
Finally, a hulk movie where we get the same actor, and same looking hulk. Yes, Mark Ruffalo is back as your favorite green monster and this time, looks to be bigger and badder than ever. Can’t wait for HULK to smash!
Scarlett Johanssen returns as your favorite SHIELD operative with more kicks and flips and twists and, you get the idea. Clips seem to indicate she develops a strong bond with Hulk. Might she be the beauty that tames the beast?
When last we saw, Nick Fury decided to fake his own death in Captain America: Winter Soldier. With a small cameo in Agents Of SHIELD, Samuel L. Jackson, wants to acknowledge, that only he can be the mentor of this team.
We are introduced to a new member of the Avengers in the form of Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Rest assured, we expect him to “kickass” in this version of Quicksilver. So what we did there?
What’s a good fight without a good, bad guy? Now there’s an oxymoron. Enter: Ultron, voiced by James Spider. Ultron promises to instill fear, terror and every other bit of chaos he can, all the while advancing his own primary vision. Do you want to build a snowman?
And there you have it. The players are announced and the playground is set. Much like the previous film, we will see some elements from each of the character’s solo films in the form of Jim Rhoades, Sam Wilson, Maria Hill, Peggy Carter, Howard Stark, and believe or not Hank Pym. This is a sequel three years in the making. Have you got your ticket yet? What are you waiting for? AVENGERS: ASSEMBLE!!!
