Who’s ready for some action from Hell’s Kitchen? Not the cooking show but the “man without fear” himself: DareDevil. In case you missed it, DareDevil got a premiere date in April. April 10, to be exact. Starring Charlie Cox in the lead role of Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer from Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, DareDevil is the current comic book adaptation to make it to the small screen. But the question becomes: Can Daredevil succeed on television where it failed to do so at the cinema? With Netflix at the helm, all signs point to yes. In just a few short years, Netflix has been very successful in creating and pushing out their own original series, and this one should be no exception. Remember, this is one of four Marvel characters that got their own show through Netflix.
With a date set in early April, this is just about a month before we get Avengers: Age Of Ultron. Just enough for Marvel to get us hyped for “Marvel Movie Month” (May). Supergirl, Teen Titans have yet to start filming and get premiere dates, but with Arrow, Flash, Constantine, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, and now Agent Carter on the tube, we might be getting overwhelmed with heroes on T.V. You might say, your DVR is getting quite crowded. The plus with Netflix is you don’t have to worry about any DVR. All ten episodes will be available at once and hopefully, this rendition will do the character justice. However, justice can be blind. See what I did there? So are you pumped? Will you be watching this? Save the date and we’ll see you then.
