Happy Birthday Michael J. Fox

Do you like this post?

I know we are a day late to the party, but I think we can still celebrate the birth of such an amazing actor and activist even a day late.

Michael J. Fox is one of my most favorite actors. He has been in so many of my favorite films. He is still an icon that people from multiple generations will always look up to. Not only is he an extraordinary actor, he is also a man who fights everyday to find a cure for his own degenerative disease. Mr. Fox may be living with Parkinson’s Disease, but it has never stopped him from achieving what he’s wanted.

Mr. Fox has been working tirelessly through his foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. This is his passion. It is not a matter of if, it is more a matter of when.

I love the quote on his foundations website: “Our challenges don’t define us. Our actions do.” And he’s right.

He has inspired so many people through his films and his words and his actions. I am proud to call myself a fan. And I think I speak for all of us here at Temple of Geek when I say it is a privilege to be able to celebrate his Birthday, even a day late.

Time to hop in the DeLorean and go back in time to relive some of our most favorite movies, tv shows, etc. with Michael J. Fox.

The Michael J. Fox Show -2013

Michael J. Fox has been in so many movies and tv shows over the years that it is nearly impossible to pay tribute to them all in this post. He is an irreplaceable man and I don’t think the world would have been the same without him.

If you were wondering what he is up to now, he will be on CBS’ The Good Wife next season.

And On that note,
