Do you like this post?

It’s been a week since Comic Con International San Diego has passed, and there were a few comic book announcements made from Marvel.

Marvel is currently in the middle of their Secret Wars storylines, so it isn’t much of a surprise that any information given would spoil the after events when Marvel launches their All-New, All-Different titles in the early Fall.

That being said, there were a few things Marvel revealed:

Marvel will be launching 45 (Yes, FORTY FIVE.) All-New, All-Different titles which will include the following:

Guardians of the Galaxy

The All-New, All-Different launch will see a new Guardians of the Galaxy team. Led by Rocket Raccoon, the new team adds The Thing from Fantastic Four and a female Star-Lord (Spoilers: It’s Kitty Pryde).

Blade: The Hunter

During the Women of Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that Tim Seeley and Logan Faerber are creating a new Blade series, titled Blade: The Hunter, that will launch later this year in October. The series will include the traditional vampire hunter Blade and his daughter named Fallon Grey.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #1

Also announced during the Women of Marvel panel was a second series for Ryan North and Erica Henderson‘s The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

A Spider-Man/Deadpool ongoing crossover series will launch from Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness, who teamed up on the DEADPOOL series of the late 90’s that gave us the Merc-With-A-Mouth we know today.

Star Wars News:

Chewbacca will receive his own solo limited series

Marvel’s Darth Vader solo title to crossover with its Star Wars series for Vader Down.

That was most of the important news revealed for the upcoming All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe.

We will keep you posted with the latest information in geek culture as we receive it.
