ICYMI: New Ghostbusters Movie Will Feature a New Version of the Theme Song

In case you are out of the loop, a new Ghostbusters film is coming to a theater near you very soon. Personally, I’m excited to see what these ladies can do. I like the idea of new special effects and a new take on something I love. I’ve been a fan of Ghostbusters since I was little, my brother and I used to dress up and try to capture ghosts in our backyard. So clearly I’m a fan.

AND I am willing to give this film a chance. A lot of people have been quite negative in their comments about this film even though no one has seen the film yet. Give it a chance people, come on.

Anyways, yesterday it was announced that this new film will feature the same theme song, but it has been re-recorded by some new artists.

Fall Out Boy (feat. Missy Elliot) have taken Ghostbusters (I’m Not Afraid) and given it new life. I feel like this version will fit perfectly with the new film.

Let us know what you thing about the new version of the song in the comments below. Are you going to see the new movie?

Katie has a Master's in Psychology from the University of Hartford and is a former Cast Member of the Disneyland Resort.
