Tim Curry absolutely deserved this tremendous honor. Tim Curry’s public appearances have been rare since his stroke 2 years ago, so it is so wonderful to see him again.

I have been a fan of his for a significant portion of my life. He is an amazing actor that has brought to life so many crazy, wonderful, amazing, and scary (clown NOPE) characters to life. I’m so happy that the Actors Fund decided to honor him with a well deserved lifetime achievement award.

In celebration of this most auspicious occasion, I will share with you all of my favorite Tim Curry related EVERYTHING.

Also a FYI, since I’m writing this and I HATE CLOWNS…. Tim Curry’s IT will NOT BE INCLUDED!

Now that I have cleared that up. Here is all the wonderful Tim Curry goodness!!!!!

Rocky Horror Picture Show – 1975 (I love this sooooooooooooooooooooo much, btw)

Clue – 1985

Oscar – 1991

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York – 1992 (I loved him in this role so much!)

Ferngully – 1992

Muppet Treasure Island – 1996

Tim Curry also grabbed our attention on the TV screen.

Over The Top – 1997

The Wild Thornberrys – 1998 to 2004 (I could not stop laughing right now)

And let me just take a moment to compliment Mr. Curry on his ability to play the bad guy because he is damn scary.

Criminal Minds: S6E01 The Longest Night – 2010

Tim Curry’s career is so extensive that I would never be able to do it justice here.

So I will end it with a heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS and a Thank You for everything!

I hope that we all get the opportunity to see him more often and hear him tell jokes because the man is HILARIOUS!!!!!

But until then we will be waiting in….
