Posted by So, browsing Facebook this week I stumbled across an interesting post from Kevin Smith.
When I saw this post, I spit out my Cheerios and proclaimed “THEY ARE MAKING A SEQUEL TO MALLRATS!!” This was news to me as I though Clerks 2 was the last of the View Askew universe.
For those of you who don’t know, Mall Rats is the second movie that Kevin Smith wrote, directed, and starred in. It was actually the first movie that I saw by him  (I quickly went back and watched Clerks after I discovered this universe).
Mallrats is a movie about two guys who were dumped by their girlfrieds, decide to take to the mall where the shenanigans begin. This movie came out in 1995 and starred Shannon Doherty, Jason, Lee, Ben Affleck, Jeremy London, Jason Mewes, and Kevin Smith. This film also featured one of the most hilarious cameos by Stan Lee.

It appears that the sequel, which is titled Mallbrats on IMDB, will be filmed at the Exxton Square Mall in Exton Pennsylvania.  We will get out any information as soon as we find out more about this film. In closing, I leave you with the trailer to the first film. If you have not seen it yet, GO!
