New York Toy Fair 2018 just dropped so much news it was hard to keep up. For instance, those of you who are loving the Power of the Primes toy line this year, Hasbro revealed some new images to make you fall in love even more!

In the Legends Class assortment, we are seeing a new mold of Tailgate, Battleslash and Roadtrap. Battleslash and Roadtrap have a feature that allows them to combine to become Battletrap.

The Deluxe Class figures will see Novastar and Moonracer. These two are the female Autobots that were introduced in the classic Generation 1 episode The Search for Alpha Trion. Novastar was known as Firestar in that episode.

The Voyager Class figure is Elita-1. She will be the body of a combiner that will form with Novastar and Moonracer. I don’t believe we know what the combiner will be called yet.

The Leader Class figure is Optimal Optimus. This figure will be similar to Rodimus and Optimus that were released earlier this year and will feature a Optimus Primal that connects to a Optimal shell. This is going to be a big figure and cannot wait to get my hand s on it!

The first Titan to be revealed this year is Predaking! This bad boy features 5 Voyager Class figures that combine into a monstrous robot! This beast looks to be about the same size as the Devastator that was released a few years ago.

Finally, we come to the Prime Masters. These are the small Pretender shells of classic characters that contain one of the Prime Masters. This time we get Octopunch, Bomb-burst, and Bludgeon. Their counter parts are Solus Prime Megatronus and Quintus Prime respectfully.

Look for all these figures to be released later this year. I feel like I need to pick up every singe one of these figures. Are you excited about any? What are you looking forward to the most? Let us know by commenting below.

Slade started Temple of Geek in 2012 with his friend as a podcast. Since then, it has become a lot more. His obsessions are Transformers, Star Wars, Classic Video Games, Superheroes, and comedies.

Slade’s life was turned to the Darkside when his father gave him a gift in 1985. He was presented with the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron. Since then, Slade has become a collector of the robots in disguise.

The only other thing that comes close to Slade’s love of Transformers is Star Wars. He has met a few of the cast over the years. Slade’s one goal in life is to meet with George Lucas and just discuss movies with him.
