2017 Overwatch Cosplay Meet Up at Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con

One of the fun things about Pop Culture and Comic Book Conventions is the fan meet-ups and gatherings that take place. This year’s Overwatch Meet-Up at Los Angeles Comic-Con was organized by cosplayer and Overwatch fan, Little Sparrow Cosplay.

Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con is a three-day event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It was formerly known as Stan Lee’s Comikaze. Overwatch is a team-based shooter game starring a diverse cast of powerful heroes. At this convention, fans of the video game Overwatch were able to meet in cosplay and gather for some fun photos.

For many, Cosplay is a way to express themselves, be creative, and make new friends. It creates a sense of community that most grown-ups lose after high school or college. For some, it goes so far as to make them feel more confident about themselves without realizing it. Many find it was an avenue that helped them learn more about themselves. And let’s face it, it’s just fun to dress up!
