The good news however, was that we were finally treated to the Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer during half time. This is the trailer that we have been waiting for. Take a minute to watch it.
Now that you have seen this amazing trailer, lets talk about a couple of things.
5. The Rebel Alliance Is just A Story
Or more specifically, Luke and company. It appears that everything Luke, Leia, Han and the rest of the Rebel Alliance fought so hard to achive in episodes 4 – 6 is that of myth and legends. This is confirmed with Rey stating “There are stories about what happend” and with Han replying, “It’s True, all of it. The Dark Side, The Jedi, They’re real.” Absolute chills.
4. Kylo Ren is Obsessed with Vader.
In the trailer, we hear him stating that nothing will stand in their way and that he is going to finish what HE started. This was said as the camera panned on Vader’s burnt helmet. Is he talking to Vader though, or is he speaking to someone else?
3. The Knights of Ren?
Who are these characters with Kylo Ren? I can confirm that each costume is completely unique. The images flash very fast in the lightning so it is hard to tell but I know that these are not Stormtroopers. So, who are they? Were we just given our first glimpse of the Knights of Ren?
2. We Got Leia and Han, But Where Is Luke
Luke is absent again from another trailer. We can assume that is robotic hand touching Artoo in that cave, but why is he there? Why is he not with his sister and friends? Why is Leia crying when in Han’s arms. I have a bad feeling about this.
1. Kylo Ren Vs Finn
In the first Trailer, we see Kylo Ren light up his amazing saber in the woods. We asked ourselves, who was he getting ready to fight? Now we know. Kylo Ren with his hood down getting ready to go toe to toe with Finn! I cannot wait to see this battle? Is Finn ready to take on Ren though?
