Thirty Somethings with Attitudes

Do you like this post?

Tog was in the ATX hitting the mean streets of the Lone Star’s Capital City today.  Spirits were high as we were finally closing in on the elusive David Fielding, aka Zordon, who was the featured guest at this year’s Hero Con.  Feeling a bit antsy, we took in the sights before seeking out David.  We ran into familiar faces and made new friends which is always great. This being a cosplay event there were many unique interpretations of heroes and villains, which when mixed with southern hospitality, presented photo ops along with oohs and ahhs of children and adults alike.  After buying some loot and composing ourselves it was time to face David.

After the interview, David had lunch with the TOG crew and told us of his life and times beyond the Rangers. We had an amazing time discussing Star Wars vs Star Trek and the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  We got to know the man inside the pillar of light and believe me when I say David Fielding is unbelievably awesome.  Not wanting to overstay our welcome TOG reluctantly said our goodbyes, and with autographs in tow, we floated back toward the vendor room on cloud nine.

As a bonus we interviewed the fiery, indomitable, and very talented Danielle DaVerona.  Whom we entrusted a special project to even after declaring a friendly rivalry with us, Ash vs Gary style.

Honestly this wasn’t the biggest convention we’ve been to, but it proved to be one of the best times we’ve had.  So just go with the flow and enjoy life my Mighty Morphin friends because you never know when you’ll find a diamond in the rough.  May the power protect you!
