5. Silence of the Lambs – I’m normally not as scared of a person as much as a demon/monster, but there’s something especially twisted about almost rooting for one killer in the story because he’s more refined than the other killer.
4. A Nightmare on Elm Street – It’s gallows humor from a killer that moves through your own mind and that’s terrifying enough to have kept me from several nights of sleep as a kid.
3. Any movie where a zombie can run – because HELL no.
2. The Exorcist – Please don’t make me think too much about this movie.
1. Evil Dead/Army of Darkness – This franchise is horror, gore-shlock, and eventually hilarious. Because of this movie I also love Little Shop of Horrors, Gremlins, Shaun of the Dead, and all those horror/comedies.
