We’re keeping it short and sweet today with three seriously awesome videos. Let’s get started!
This ain’t the Power Rangers you remember from your childhood.
If you don’t have enough time to watch now, but are just dying to know what’s in the video, fellow Geek of the Temple Danniel Slade
Wilson broke down the short film…with screenshots!
For a quick spoiler free review, all I will say is: Daaaaayyyyyuuuuumm! And that’s coming from someone who has never watched Power Rangers before.
The short stars the talented Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek), featuring some awesome special effects, gratuitous blood, some nudity, great fighting sequences, and *gasp* A PLOT TWIST OF AN ENDING.
Starbuck and Dawson Leery together in one place as Power Rangers was not something we were expecting, but hey, it works.
Chip Kidd: Designing books is no laughing matter. Okay, it is.
It’s totally cool to judge a book by its cover.
This is one of the best TED talks out there on the web. Chip Kidd is funny, charismatic, passionate, and seriously smart.
It’s one of the longer talks (a whooping 17 minutes), but abosolutely worth taking time out of your day to watch.
If you love a certain Michael Crichton novel about dinosaurs, you definitely should watch this.
House of Cards Season 3 Trailer
Netflix’s political drama is returning soon…very, very soon.
For those of us who weren’t lucky enough to watch part of the upcoming season of House of Cards early due to a bug, the wait is almost over.
House of Cards season 3 looks just as dramatic, ruthless, and filled with those fourth wall shattering monologues that we cherished so much from the earlier seasons.
The only difference this time: Frank Underwood has his presidency on the line and Claire wants more to life than settling for the role of First Lady…
That’s enough writing for today for me. It’s your turn! Got a video that you are just dying to get other people to watch? Need to someone to talk to about your House of Cards addiction? Drop a comment below or let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
