If you are a hands on parent, or family, member and love to spend time with the kids, then you need to check out these 6 kid friendly movies. These movies will get you and your little ones ready for Halloween. Make some popcorn, get some snacks ready, and put some jammies on. Even if you have watched these, it’s a good time to revisit these films during the Halloween holiday season. Movies are in no particular order.
Hocus Pocus 1993. Witches trying to steal children to eat them. Cute and funny story line. Mummies, black possessed cat, zombies and all. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.
The Witches 1990. Under rated cult classic. Witches who want to get rid of all the children in the world. They despise the kids. They live in our world but disguise themselves as normal people.
Ghostbusters 1984 version. Slimer and Stay Puff are kids favorites. Cute not really scary. What kid doesn’t like ghosts?
The Nightmare Before Christmas. This movie is awesome. Good creepy music. A perfect movie actually for Christmas and for Halloween since it combines the best of both worlds. A love story and mischief.
Beetlejuice. This movie has a good theme and story about the afterlife and what happens. Cooky character named Beetlejuice who wants to posses people in his afterlife.
Gremlins. Because who doesn’t love the Gizmo and the cute Mogwai’s. The cute critter has certain rules. If you do not follow the rules he has evil spawn. Causing mischief and mayhem throughout the town. If you like the first one I would recommend to watch part 2 as well.
