2020 has proved to be a very hard year. But there are two bright spots in what feels like a hurricane of hardships, Duncanville will be returning next spring with new episodes and Comic-Con International has gone virtual this year!

Comic-Con International is one of the largest pop culture events in the world and takes place every July in San Diego, CA. This year due to the need for social distancing, they have gone completely virtual and bringing their panels to fans for free on Youtube. The event takes place between July 22 and July 26th. It will host over 300 panels within that time.

Executive producers Mike & Julie Scully, executive producer and star, Amy Poehler, along with stars Ty Burrell, Riki Lindhome, Joy Osmanski, Yassir Lester, Betsy Sodaro, and guest stars Rashida Jones and Wiz Khalifa discuss their favorite moments from the season and what they’re excited for in the upcoming second season; returning next Spring on FOX.

Duncanville Season One

“Duncanville” is centered around a 15-year-old boy and the people in his world. Like most 15-year-olds, Duncan can see adulthood on the horizon: money, freedom, cars, and girls; but the reality is more like: always being broke, driving with one’s mom sitting shotgun and babysitting one’s sister. He’s not exceptional, but he has a wild imagination in which he’s never anything less than amazing.

Annie (Duncan’s mom) a parking enforcement officer who dreams of someday being a detective. Like many moms, she lives in perpetual fear that her teenage son is one bad decision away from ruining his life. Duncan’s father, Jack, is a classic-rock-obsessed plumber who’s determined to be a better dad than the one he had. Kimberly (Duncan’s 12-year-old sister) is awkward, emotional, and can hold grudges forever while waiting patiently for revenge. She’s all emotions all the time and nobody’s problems are bigger than hers.
