Samuel Haine and John Schrad have come up with a wonderful new holiday tradition for Geek & Nerd Culture: “A Kaiju Christmas“. A Kaiju Christmas is a 40-page children’s book based on The Night Before Christmas, but instead of a Santa flying down to drop off presents a giant monster snowman appears through an extra-dimensional portal to ruin the holidays. And it’s up to a group of brave kids to save Christmas and the world.

This feels like a great new tradition waiting to happen. I can already imagine all the adorable reindeer and snow monster stocking stuffers that could come from this. The illustrations and the poem are pure delights.
