On September 8, 2022, the 56th Anniversary of the premiere of Star Trek, Paramount+ celebrated what has been known to be “Star Trek Day” with fans and cast members from the various Star Trek franchises at the Skirball Museum in Los Angeles, California.  During the event, which was live-streamed globally, various announcements including clips and teaser trailers were shown to reveal some of the new Trek content coming from the Paramount+ streaming service. One of the panels held at the Star Trek Day event included cast members Tawny Newsome (Ensign Beckett Mariner), who also co-hosted the globally live-streamed event, Noël Wells (Ensign D´Vana Tendi), and Paul F. Tompkins (Migleemo) moderating and co-hosting the panel. The first 3 episodes of Season 3 of Star Trek: Lower Decks are now available to stream on Paramount+ since the Star Trek Day event. Not pictured, but part of the cast of Lower Decks was Fred Tatasciore (Lieutenant Shaxs) providing his amazing voice talent to be the announcer of the panels and events at Star Trek Day.
