The Business of Fangirling

Being a fangirl looks different to each person. In this episode, Keres talks about how embracing her inner fangirl has helped her launch a business.

I just didn’t really enjoy myself in high school. So after after I got out of high school, I kind of went back to embracing my inner fangirl. I started watching anime again playing video games. […] And of course watched [Sk8 the Infinity]and then, like we said before, Sk8 kind of lit a fire under me and I wanted to make merch and I wanted to make art of this anime that I loved so much and that is what started my business. Without embracing my inner fangirl, I would not have this business. I would not be where I am today. I would not go to conventions. There’s just so much stuff that I just would never have experienced had I not embraced this part of me.
