How to Get Started with Doctor Who Comics: Starting with the 15th Doctor’s New Comic Adventure!

Are you interested in starting Doctor Who comics but don’t know where to begin? Well, look no further! The new 15th Doctor comic adventure is the perfect jumping-on point for new readers. The newest season of Doctor Who ends on June 22nd, and the newest comic issue arrives on June 26th, 2024. To make sure you don’t miss out on the Time Lord’s latest adventures, the folks at Titan Comics have put together this handy guide for new readers.

All issues of Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor are available at comic book shops. If you need help finding your nearest one, visit the Comic Shop Locator and add your zip code (for North America) or select your Country & City for locations outside North America.

Ordering copies through a comic book store is easy.

  1. Find the item # order code (see the bottom of the page).
  2. Head to your local comic book shop and tell them you’d like to order DOCTOR WHO: THE FIFTEENTH DOCTOR.
  3. Alternatively, use this pre-order form: just save it, print it out, and fill in your details.  Download PDF HERE.

You can phone the store or order online from their website. If you don’t know the location of your nearest comic book shop, visit the Comic Shop Locator or PREVIEWSWorld. PREVIEWSworld PULLBOX is an online program that lets you subscribe to comic book titles, preorder from the latest PREVIEWS catalog, and order any available item—all through your local comic shop! For the UK & Europe, you can order from Forbidden Planet.

Alternatively, you can ask your local comic store to set up a “pull-list” subscription for you. This tells them to put aside a copy each time a new issue is released. Some retailers also offer the option of pulling just the first issue of any new related series, so you can try it before committing.

Issue #1 of Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor on sale June 26, 2024

Written by sci-fi and fantasy master, Dan Watters (Loki, Home Sick Pilots, The Sandman Universe), the issue kicks off an all-new Doctor Who comic series starring the Fifteenth Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and his companion, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson). The launch of this new series on June 26th marks the 10th anniversary of Doctor Who comics under Titan Comics. Since 2014, Titan Comics has been traveling with the Doctor, and now, in its 10th year, it will be part of an exciting new era with the Fifteenth Doctor.

In  Doctor Who: The Fifteenth Doctor #1, The Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby Sunday follow a mysterious signal to a shopping mall in the last days of Earth. It’s sure to be a trap, but to find the source, the Doctor must face their greatest fears. This run has been rated appropriate for ages 12 and up. And it will have a variety of variant cover available.
