Akiba Station Brings Authentic Anime Culture to L.A. Comic Con

Get ready for an exciting journey into the heart of anime and Japanese pop culture at L.A. Comic Con 2025, as the convention proudly introduces Akiba Station. This monumental dedicated anime destination is poised to be a highlight of the event.
Akiba Station will captivate fans from the moment they step through its stunning Torii gates and into a cherry-blossomed walkway. At the core of Akiba Station will be the Akiba Food Market. A culinary haven inspired by Japan’s otaku hubs, the market will offer authentic street food and anime-themed cafes. Beyond the delicious treats, attendees can also expect interactive activations, dedicated gaming zones, and anime-inspired photo opportunities. There will even be a curated selection of Japanese artists and exhibitors!
Johnny Chang, founder and CEO of Otaku Collectives, shared a personal connection to the project. Chang stated that “anime gave me stories that made me feel seen.” Chang further stated that Akiba Station is designed as a space where fans can “be proud of who they are, connect with others, and celebrate what makes this community special.”

Adding to the excitement, Akiba Station will feature an impressive lineup of voice acting talent. While top Japanese voiceover artists will be announced soon, many English fan favorites confirmed to appear. The actors include Zach Aguilar (Demon Slayer), Luci Christian (Vampire Hunter D), Zach Gordon (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), Ian Sinclair (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods), and Sonny Strait (My Hero Academia).
