A First Look at the UniVersus’s “TEKKEN 8” Clash Decks

The iconic TEKKEN  fighting game series developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment is joining the UniVersus family. These Clash decks focus on TEKKEN 8, the latest installment in the game series. TEKKEN 8 continues the thrilling and rapid combat tradition as the eighth entry. However, it blends familiar and innovative gameplay elements to make it fresh and new. The story unfolds in a world where the battle between the Mishima family and other factions only escalates. TEKKEN 8 takes storytelling to new heights and highlights the ongoing theme of rivalry that shapes the series.

On October 24th for Europe and Oceania and November 8th for North America, Jin Kazama and Jun Kazama are introduced to the UniVersus playfield with the upcoming TEKKEN 8 Clash Decks.

The back-and-forth fight between two players makes TEKKEN a fantastic addition to UniVersus. These Clash Decks highlight their signature moves and unique abilities.

A Preview of the Cards

The decks created by UniVersus never disappoint. Each TEKKEN 8 Clash Deck centers around their character with beautiful custom illustrations and gameplay scenes pulled right from the game itself. The foil character cards are stunning and captivating. ‘Amatsu Izanami’ and ‘Polar Demon Gouge’ are among the favorites. The TEKKEN art gives a classic feel to the fighting style. Cards also briefly describe what they specifically do, which is helpful for new players. Where Jun has a calming clairvoyance, Jin balances the scales with cursed darkness.

The card illustrations showcase the strength and determination shared by both characters, introducing an exciting new duo to the UniVersus line.
