Andy Allo and Allegra discuss how proud they are of Upload S4

Andy Allo and Allegra Edwards shared how proud they are of the fourth and final season of Upload while at San Diego Comic-Con. Prime Video’s sci-fi comedy Upload is set to conclude with a high-stakes, four-part finale. Emmy-winning creator Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation) brings the hit series to a close with an epic evil AI, putting not just the resort at risk but the real world.

Andy Allo and Allegra discuss how proud they are of Upload S4

Andy Allo, who plays Nora, and Allegra Edwards, who plays Ingrid, were at San Diego Comic-Con last month to discuss the Final season of Upload.

Andy Allo: I am very proud. Especially my work this season. I think I approached this particular season, even though it’s sometimes a character you’ve lived with and you know so well, there can be a trap of like, “All right, I know Nora, I know the world.” This season in particular, she’s going through so much. It’s a tough journey that she goes on. But I think it’s one that really shapes her. From season one to now, I’ve grown up so much. And so has she. I think she’s found something bigger than herself. And she’s also learning the true definition of love. And that really comes through, especially in the last episode.

Allegra Edwards: I’ve been using the word proud a lot. I feel proud of Ingrid, especially. I feel proud of each of the characters. I feel like they are friends of mine. Not just the actors, but the characters are like friends. I’m like, “Yes, you could join us. You keep going. Im so Proud of you!”. Which is weird, but it’s how I feel. I also feel proud of my friends, the actors, and my friends, the writers.

Final Season of Upload is Streaming Now

Beyond the virtual dangers, the series also tackles corporate greed and complex personal relationships. Nathan (Robbie Amell) and Nora (Andy Allo) will be tested like never before, dealing with both virtual and real-life heartbreak. To save humanity from deletion, the characters must put aside their differences and team up one last time.

The final four episodes, released on August 25, conclude an arc that began with Nathan’s mysterious death and upload to Lakeview, where he formed a connection with his living “angel,” Nora. With the sentient AI’s rise to power, the finale is packed with unforgettable moments, including a heroic sacrifice by Lakeview resident Luke (Kevin Bigley).

The series also stars Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels as A.I. Guy. Daniels serves as executive producer alongside Howard Klein and Maxwell Vivian.

The four-part finale event for Upload is available to stream now on Prime Video.
