The company Steve jobs built just announced a new service coming fall of 2019. The service is called Apple Arcade and it will feature 100’s of games that will be exclusive to Apple. Let’s take a brief look at what this service is all about.
First up, Apple promises 100 new and exclusive games that will launch on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. These games will be available on Apple Arcade. Players will have access to all the games and will be able to download straight from the app store.
Since this is a subscription service, these games will be ad-free. That means no annoying popups or videos in between stages. Gamers will also have the ability to resume their play across devices. This is a trend that the gaming industry seems to be heading to which started with Nintendo’s Switch back in 2016, the ability to play at home or on the go.
Finally, they announced a release window of fall 2019, but there was no information on what this service will cost. Many third-party studios will be supporting the new service such as SEGA, Konami, Mistwalker Corporation, Lego, and more.
Will this be something that gamers will bite into? What games would make you subscribe to this service? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
We have a little over 9 months before the final installment of Star Wars hits theaters. Disney has been doing all they can to keep any and all information away from the public. I mean, there is not even a freaking title yet.
On Wednesday, website makingstarwars.net just a bombshell of a leak in the form of a retail poster. This poster, if real, gives fans their first look at what the characters will look like in Episode IX. Here is a look at that said poster.
Starting from the top, we see that there are X-Wings, an A-Wing, and a Y-Wing flying in the background. This is a return of some of the classic ships from the original trilogy and a welcomed site. We see Rey, Po, and Finn all decked out in new attire. Rey is sporting an all-white garment while Po and Finn are wearing what looks to be the costumes seen in the cast wrap photo. Chewbacca is there as well
The First Order is represented on this poster with Kylo Ren being front and center and with a new helmet. Fans may remember him destroying his mask in The Last Jedi. We also see the return of the Knights of Ren. We see the cannon fodder, I mean, stormtroopers just to the right of Kylo as well as new crimson Stormtroopers prominent at the bottom.
There are some new characters on the poster as well. At the top, we have Jannah who is being described as Lando’s granddaughter. There is a masked female character credited as Zorii who many are speculating as Keri Russell’s character. Then next to Finn, there is this weird fish-like alien. Lastly, is that C3PO with a bowcaster and bandolier?
Notably missing from this poster are Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Billy Dee Williams. In another leak, we do get a look at what we can expect from Williams’ Lando Calrissian. He appears to be sporting a very similar outfit that Donald Glover wore in SOlO: A Star Wars Story.
Now take this information with a grain of salt. This may be all an elaborate hoax. We will not have any concrete information until Star Wars Celebration in a couple of weeks.
