Attack on Titan 10 Year Celebration and Dub Panel at NYCC

English voice actors Bryce Papenbrook (Eren Yeager) and Trina Nishimura (Mikasa Ackerman) answered fan questions and shared their experiences from the last ten years of working on the hit anime.

The panel opened with a trailer for the final part of the series.

After the trailer, the moderator asked Bryce and Trina questions about their time spent with their characters over the lengthy run of the series. Trina shared a touching story of how her character, Mikasa, impacted the life of a fan.

Fan Q&A

Fans attending the panel were given the opportunity to ask Bryce and Trina their own questions. One fan asked Bryce who he thought would win in a fight between Eren Yeager and his character from Demon Slayer, Inosuke Hashibara.

I think, unlike many characters, Inosuke would actually love the world of Attack on Titan. I think there would be lots of things for him to slice. So it would be a good fight. I’d love to see it, but like I said, I wouldn’t be able to talk after.

Exclusive Table Reading with Bryce and Trina

Audience members attending the panel were surprised with an exclusive live table read. As Mikasa and Eren respectively, Trina and Bryce recreated a heart wrenching moment between the pair from season four.

At the end of the reading, Bryce wrapped Trina in Mikasa’s signature red scarf. Throughout Attack on Titan, the significance of the pair’s unbreakable bond is symbolized by the simple red scarf Eren gives to Mikasa at the start of the series.

Dedicate Your Hearts

The panel concluded with Bryce, Trina, and the entire audience in the Empire Stage posing for a group photo while displaying the trademark Scouts Salute.
