BlizzCon Is Back This Year: Celebrating Blizzard Cosplay Through the Years

BlizzCon is set to make its return this year, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center on September 12-13, 2026. In a heartfelt post, Blizzard made the announcement in March 2025. Since its debut in 2005, BlizzCon has been dedicated to celebrating its gaming community. So this year, BlizzCon promises an engaging lineup that includes an Opening Ceremony, insightful panels, the Darkmoon Faire, competitions, live gameplay, and, of course, cosplay.

Blizzard Entertainment has a reputation for creating incredible games that inspire a dedicated and passionate fan community. The studio has launched several critically acclaimed titles in the history of video gaming, including World of Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft, and Overwatch. Over the years, Blizzard has enchanted audiences with remarkable cinematics that tie into their deep, lore-rich worlds. These games have played a pivotal role in shaping the MMORPG and hero-shooter genres and continue to leave fans anticipating upcoming releases.
