The Despicable Me franchise and the K-pop group BTS, both boasting massive fan followings, have joined forces in an exciting Funko Pop! collaboration. A new Despicable Me 4 character, Poppy Prescott, identifies as a member of the BTS ARMY. To celebrate Poppy Prescott, Funko announced an exclusive 7-pack of Minions available for pre-order.

This exclusive collaboration features Pop! RM, Pop! Jin, Pop! SUGA, Pop! j-hope, Pop! Jimin, Pop! V and Pop! Jung Kook in their iconic outfits inspired by their 2021 hit single, “Permission to Dance.”

On Thursday, June 14, Despicable Me 4 released a clip on X (formerly Twitter) featuring the BTS members reimagined as Minions, dancing to their hit track “Permission to Dance.”

The collaboration comes ahead of the new film Despicable Me 4, where Gru welcomes a new family member, Gru Jr., who is eager to cause mischief. However, their peaceful life is disrupted when criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal escapes prison, seeking revenge against Gru. Despicable Me 4 hits theaters on July 3rd.
