Bricks & Minifigs, the Go-To Store for LEGO Fans, Doubled Growth in Just Two Years

Bricks & Minifigs, an authorized LEGO® reseller specializing in buying, trading, and selling LEGO® products, proudly surpassed 300 stores in 2025. Each location gives unused LEGO items a second life with new builders. This is demonstrating the company’s continued success as a franchise-driven, in-person retailer.

The Growth of the Bricks and Minifigs Franchise

Since 2023, Bricks & Minifigs has opened 150 stores, marking one of the most accelerated periods of growth in its history. Each store functions as a local marketplace. Families, enthusiasts, and collectors trade sets, rediscover retired builds, and gather in person. Guests use the stores to look for bricks for MOCs, pick up or sell LEGO sets, and enjoy the community aspect of the fandom.

Ammon McNeff, CEO of Bricks & Minifigs, says:

When I first joined Bricks & Minifigs as CEO in 2018, we had just 35 franchisees operating, and my brother and I were among them. Since then, I’m incredibly proud that we’ve grown that number into over 300 locations across the U.S. and Canada. People still crave the experience of walking into a store where they can connect, explore, and find unique LEGO® treasures with the people they love. We’re excited to continue opening new locations and bringing that experience to even more communities.

In just 18 months, the franchise grew from its 100th store to its 200th! These stores bring hands-on, community-centric LEGO experiences to hundreds of new neighborhoods across North America. This growth showcases the company’s pivotal role in creating spaces where families and collectors can connect, explore, and celebrate their love of LEGO®.

“We came to Bricks & Minifigs as customers and fans before we were ever a part of the executive team,” said Matt McNeff, COO of Bricks & Minifigs. “Our journey serves as a reminder that every store represents someone’s excitement and passion for LEGO, and a desire to pour that energy into their community.”

Ammon McNeff and his brother Matt McNeff envision a future with over 3,500 stores worldwide. The company has already expanded from the United States into Canada. Also, two locations are already open and are authorized to sell in Australia. As LEGO® is an international brand, the McNeff brothers aspire to reach even non-English-speaking countries. Furthermore, their mission is to share LEGO®’s creativity with fans around the world.
