Deadpool 2 Non- Spoiler Review

Your favorite mercenary who won’t shut up is back in his all new sequel! Ladies and gentlemen, Deadpool 2 is now in theaters!!! Yes, friends, the much anticipated Deadpool 2 is back with more humor, more violence and more fourth wall breaking as Ryan Reynolds returns as the title character. This time however, he has gone international with his mercenary for hire business. After the hit success of the 2016 film, the series has gotten a much noticeable upgrade in the theatrical budget without losing the original charm that we saw with the original film.

The film is action packed and expands on many of the relationships between Wade and his friends, both old and new. Along with Reynolds, Brianna Hildebrand returns as Negasonic Teenage Warhead (seriously the most long winded super hero name ever) and Stefan Kapicic returns as the voice actor for Colossus (Deadpool’s voice of reason) and my personal favorite supporting character, Dopinder, played by Karan Soni. Also returning is Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, the love of Wade’s life. The new blood we get in this action packed, blood fest are Josh Brolin as Cable and Zazie Beetz as Domino, both of which rock it with their performances and stand out in their performances.

As for the other characters you’ve seen in the trailers, let’s just say (without giving out any spoilers) that everyone plays their part and you’re in for some hilarious interactions as the cast are genuinely having a great time making this movie.

Deadpool 2’s main theme is family and how they can come in different forms with people you may not expect to be there. A good example of this could be some of the viral marketing done by the studio, who finally ponied up some more dough to fill up that giant school of mutants, but not really, you’ll have to see for yourself to get what I’m saying. However, family and friends and what it means to be both are two common themes brought up a lot in this movie.

Coupled with the tongue and cheek humor and the chemistry between the actors in the film, Deadpool 2 reads a lot like a typical Deadpool comic. It’s all over the place but not in a way that makes the movie boring, this movie is in no way boring at all, it’s for the fans and those who may not know much if anything about Deadpool and is enjoyable for all who go check it out. If you have kids, you may want to use a little discretion before you take the kiddos, otherwise it’s a great time for all of us who love Deadpool. Go check out Deadpool 2, in theaters now!!!
