Destiny 2 Gets Ghostbusters Collaboration

Just in time for the release of the new Ghostbusters film, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, hitting theaters on March 22nd, Destiny 2, a popular first-person shooter MMO by Bungie, is getting a Ghostbusters Collaboration! The collaboration between Bungie, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, and the legendary Ghostbusters franchise is available as of today.

Destiny 2 Gets Ghostbusters Collaboration

Players can personalize their Guardian with fun Ghostbuster-inspired in-game accessories. Haunt the cosmos with the Slimer Exotic Ghost shell. Channel the power of the ancient Destructor with the fiery design of the Garraka-inspired Exotic Sparrow. Or, cruise the cosmos in style aboard a replica of the iconic Ghostbusters vehicle with the Ecto-1-themed Exotic ship.

The game lets players become Guardians, wielding elemental abilities to defend humanity. Players can choose a class, customize their character, and team up with friends to tackle challenging missions or fight in various PvP and PvE modes. With ongoing expansions and seasonal updates, Destiny 2 offers a rich and ever-evolving world for players to explore.

Destiny 2 Gets Slimed and Gears Up for “Into the Light” Launch

Players will also have the opportunity to grab the entire set or any individual item to unlock a downloadable papercraft mask of the Slimer Ghost Shell, courtesy of Bungie Rewards and the Bungie Store (no extra purchase required!).

The launch of Destiny 2: Into the Light approaches on April 9th. Don’t miss the next two streams happening March 26th and April 2nd! The friendly competition between Guardian classes rages on in the ongoing Guardian Games All-Stars event. Earn points with your favorite class to grab the new Skimmer vehicle before it disappears on March 26th. Destiny 2, launched in 2017, has expanded with yearly content drops, seasons, and raids, all leading to the epic finale of the Light and Darkness saga in June 2024.
