Mitch Horowitz, a seasoned author and lecturer, is passionate about unearthing the hidden truths of our universe. He has spent years conducting in-depth research, interviewing witnesses, studying government documents, and delving into the historical records of all things unexplained.

Chrissy Newton, a Partner of The Debrief, is an accomplished journalist and podcaster. She won the Best Science Series award at the 2023 Canadian Podcast Awards for her show “Rebelliously Curious with Chrissy Newton.” Throughout her career, Chrissy has broken some of the biggest news stories about UFOs and interviewed former politicians and government whistleblowers. As a seasoned investigator, she brings a wealth of experience, government access, and political connections to help her crack open cases and access the truth.

The Premiere Episode of Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction arrives Wednesday, June 19th

Horowitz and Newton set up at a local watering hole in Roswell, New Mexico, a town infamous for its UFO past. There they meet with individuals who have experienced strange and unexplainable encounters. After listening to each firsthand account, the duo taps into the latest intelligence, technology, and tools to investigate the reported activity.

Using recently declassified UFO documents, databases, and more, they closely analyze visual and physical evidence to separate fact from fiction. They then render a final verdict on whether each experience has a verifiable explanation or if it is a real alien encounter.

In the premiere episode, Horowitz and Newton meet with a farming couple from California. The couple believes they’ve captured video evidence proving the afterlife is real. Next, a geologist thinks he may have unearthed the most important piece of evidence from a UFO crash site. Finally, they speak with a mother who is struggling to make sense of a harrowing UFO encounter. She believes it caused her neurological damage and left radiation burns on her body.
