This week Doctor Who fans will say goodbye to Peter Capaldi as The Doctor on the television series Doctor Who. Capaldi was first announced as the new Doctor in 2013, making his first appearance as the Doctor in a cameo in the 50th anniversary special, “The Day of the Doctor”, before appearing in the 2013 Christmas special, “The Time of the Doctor”. He will make his final appearance on the show on December 25th as he regenerates and welcomes in his place Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor.
