The Doctor Who stars were in Los Angeles for a star-studded premiere on May 8th! Disney Branded Television threw a bash to celebrate the new season’s arrival on Disney+. Fans got a sneak peek at the upcoming episodes before anyone else.
Ncuti Gatwa, the Fifteenth Doctor, and his companion Millie Gibson (Ruby Sunday) led the TARDIS crew down the red carpet. They were joined by the brains behind the new era – returning showrunner Russell T Davies and his fellow executive producers Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner, Phil Collinson, and Joel Collins.
Celebrity sightings galore fueled the excitement! Alex Borstein (Family Guy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Kari Byron (MythBusters), Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb), Rick and Becky Riordan (Percy Jackson and the Olympians), Dua Saleh (Sex Education), and many more stars joined the festivities. Disney Branded Television president Ayo Davis kicked off the night with a warm welcome.
The Doctor and their companion Ruby Sunday are back, and this time they’ll face everything from the high society of Regency England to the battlefields of the future. Their trusty TARDIS, disguised as an unassuming police box, will hurtle them toward incredible journeys. Prepare to meet fascinating friends and face down dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman and the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet!
New episodes drop weekly, starting Fridays on Disney+ (where available) and Saturdays on BBC and BBC iPlayer in the U.K. Don’t miss out!
