Fans of the highly anticipated Dragon Age: The Veilguard are in for a treat at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). EA and BioWare are set to host a panel titled “Dragon Age: Meet The Heroic Companions of Thedas,” offering a deeper dive into the game’s lore and characters.

This single-player fantasy RPG is the latest installment in BioWare’s acclaimed Dragon Age series. Embark on an epic quest as Rook, fighting alongside a diverse cast of companions to confront powerful Elven gods and prevent global destruction. The game promises rich storytelling, intricate worldbuilding, and meaningful relationships, all hallmarks of the Dragon Age franchise. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is scheduled for release in Fall 2024 for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Dragon Age: Meet The Heroic Companions of Thedas Panel at San Diego Comic-Con

The world recently got its first detailed look at the next Dragon Age game. Now, it’s time to meet the actors bringing these characters to life! Beloved returning personalities include Varrick and Solas. Also, fans will have the chance to see the new and remarkable cast of The Veilguard. Lucy James (video producer and host at GameSpot) dives in with John Epler (Dragon Age creative director), Ashley Barlow (creative performance director) and several companion voiceover actors/actresses from the game. Attendees will hear from the voice actors of Dragon Age: The Veilguard discuss their motivations and inspirations that have lit up the personalities and uniqueness of each companion.

Panel Highlights:

• Voice Actors & Developers: The panel will feature voice actors behind companions Lucanis, Harding, Emmrich, and Neve, along with BioWare’s John Epler (Creative Director) and Ashley Barlow (Creative Performance Director).
• Companion Insights: Attendees will gain exclusive insights into the motivations and inspirations behind each unique companion.
• Moderated by: GameSpot host and producer Lucy James will moderate the discussion.
