With the recent news of Nintendo sitting out E3 2023, fans have been curious about what the company has in store for this year. After endless rumors and speculation, here’s everything announced in February’s Nintendo Direct.

Pikmin 4 coming July 21, 2023

  • Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Volume 3 announced, available February 15th.
  • Samba de Amigo: Party Central announced, coming Summer 2023.
  • Fashion Dreamer announced, coming 2023. 

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania coming March 6th

  • TRON: Identity coming April 2023. 
  • Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective coming Summer 2023. 
  • DecaPolice coming 2023.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon coming March 17th

Splatoon 3 expansion pass Wave 1 coming Spring 2023, Wave 2 at a later date

  • Disney Illusion Island coming July 28th. 

Fire Emblem Engage expansion pass Wave 2 available today

Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles coming to Nintendo Switch Online today, more titles available in the future

That’s everything announcement in February’s Nintendo Direct. So far, it looks as though Nintendo’s 2023 is shaping up to be amazing as long as you’re either a retro gamer or JRPG fan, or both. While there are still some great first-party titles on the horizon, I couldn’t help but feel like newer software is lacking. Tell us your thoughts!
