After a nearly 7 month long hiatus and skipping their usual summer Direct centered around E3, a mainline Nintendo Direct finally returns. Here is everything announced in Nintendo’s September 2022 Direct.
Fire Emblem Engage Announcement
- It Takes Two coming to Nintendo Switch November 4th.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse coming to the West early 2023.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass Wave 2 coming October 13. Includes new hero Ino and new Challenge Battles.

I hope you enjoyed this breakdown of everything announced in Nintendo’s September Direct. Overall, this was a pretty strong presentation. Sure, there was over-abundance of farming sims and smaller indie titles, but some of these announcements were unexpected, and we finally have a title and release date for the next mainline Zelda game!
