Fans celebrate their favorite characters at WonderCon 2019!

Cosplayers of all ages showed up at WonderCon 2019 in Anaheim, CA! And many of these fans showed up ready to celebrate their favorite characters at WonderCon 2019!

WonderCon is in its 33rd year and is produced by Comic-Con International! It is one of the largest comic conventions on the west coast! Boasting over 66,000 attendees, this family-friendly convention is also a showcase for the creativity of the attendees. Many came out to celebrate by dressing up as some of their favorite pop culture and comic book characters.

The term cosplay is a play on the words “Costume” and “Play”. It is a popular form of expression at most comic book conventions. Attendees dress up as their favorite characters from pop culture and attend the conventions in full dress up. Cosplay can consist of simple themed outfits, Halloween costumes, or elaborate homemade feats of ingenuity.
