First Ever Overseas ONE PIECE DAY Happening in Dallas

Grab your straw hat and set sail! ONE PIECE DAY is happening in the United States for the first time. Bandai Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Weekly Shonen Jump Editorial Department in charge of ONE PIECE and Toei Animation Inc., announced their plans for the ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration–! The event will be held on March 8-9, 2025 in Dallas, Texas for U.S. fans of “ONE PIECE.”

ONE PIECE DAY Dallas Details

ONE PIECE DAY is an annual fan event held in Japan. Since 2022, this has been a celebration of all things “One Piece.” 2025 is the first year the event will take place overseas.

Soon, ONE PIECE DAY Dallas will host over 5,000 fans of the hit series in Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Attendees will experience the world of “One Piece” through an exhibition of manga art, anime licensed merchandise, and figure displays. Furthermore, there will be an extensive ONE PIECE CARD GAME illustration showcase.

This exciting two-day event features live music, special guests, stage events, and so much more!

On opening night, fans will be entranced by a spectacular drone show commemorating the “One Piece Card Game Championship 25-26.” This specially-produced show will feature unique drone choreography visualizing the world of “One Piece.” Attendees will be amazed at the grand, one-of-a-kind spectacle to celebrate the occasion.

The main stage inside Centennial Hall will include anime screenings, panels, surprise programming, and live musical performances. A special announcement is coming on day one of this event, so stay tuned! Not only that, but Japanese music artists Hiroshi Kitadani and Maki Otsuki will also take the stage. They will perform famous songs that color the world of the anime series, including the opening and ending themes.

“One Piece” Card Game Championship 25-26

ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration– will host the world’s first regional qualifier for the “One Piece Card Game Championship” 25-26 tournament. The competition takes place in the Automobile Building at Fair Park. It will include over 3,000 participants across both days. This will be the fastest tournament event held in the 2025 Championship season!

Also, for those fans not participating in the competition, there will be hands-on opportunities to experience the card game for the first time.

Dallas Exhibition

The episodic series broadcast is set to resume with new episodes from the Egghead arc this April. To celebrate its return, a special exhibition showcasing the full appeal of the series will be presented at the ONE PIECE DAY Dallas –Card Game Celebration–. This includes the manga, anime, licensed merchandise, and a large-scale ONE PIECE CARD GAME showcase.

Furthermore, this special exhibit highlights illustrations from the Egghead arc. Fans will see reproduced artwork focusing on the original Japanese manga. This allows visitors to deeply appreciate the creative design of the characters and setting of Future Island Egghead.

There will also be a reading area where visitors can freely enjoy the manga. Read Volume 1 of the English edition through to the latest Volume 108, which is set to be released in the U.S. this March!

ONE PIECE DAY Dallas Tickets and Merch

Tickets for the event are FREE and based on first come, first served. An entry pass for admission on both days can be secured via the BANDAI TCG+ mobile app. Registration closes on Wednesday, March 5 at 9:00 am CST.

Application for tickets opens today, February 26th. Request tickets by setting up a BANDAI NAMCO ID and downloading the BANDAI TCG+ app. Create an account. Then, set the game title to “ONE PIECE” and the area to “NORTH AMERICA.” Finally, select the “ONE PIECE DAY General Entry” ticket and apply!

Each general admission pass allows fans to bring two guests. Also, the passes include a special giveaway package of exclusive goods!

About the Series

“One Piece” is a Shounen Jump manga by Eiichiro Oda that began in 1997. The manga still updates weekly. The story follows Monkey D. Luffy and his dream to become King of the Pirates. He takes on a crew of his own, dubbing them the Straw Hat Pirates, as they sail the seas in search of the legendary treasure that once belonged to the infamous Pirate Gol D. Roger called the “One Piece.”

The anime has over 1,000 episodes and is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. It is on hiatus until April of this year. The second season of the live-action series on Netflix is coming soon.

  1. It looks impressive. I would love to go, but it’s a bit far from Poland. There aren’t many events of this type organized here. Nevertheless, it’s a great idea, I used to play One Piece, now I have less time and sometimes I’ll still play something, whether it’s One Piece or Legends of Elysium (also an interesting game).
