Funko announced their plans for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). These plans include the expansion of “Funkoville,” a massive, neighborhood-like experience that is double the size of the 2022 experience! The immersive shop will include Funko, Funko Games, Loungefly, Mondo, and so much more.

Funko at San Diego Comic-Con

Funkoville (Booth 5341) will be available for all registered SDCC attendees from July 19 through July 23. Fans will be able to take a tour through the streets of “Funkoville” to discover new interactive experiences, brand storefronts, and more.

Fan-favorite shops, including a donut shop, bowling alley, Loungefly boutique, and Mondo gas station will welcome fans and serve as the go-to destination for new and exclusive pop culture collectibles.

The Blockbuster Rewind video store is a new addition to Funkoville. This area allows fans to travel back to the 90s and relive the nostalgic experience of visiting their neighborhood’s local video store. Fans will be able to browse and purchase new, innovative collectibles based on iconic films. The throwback experience showcases the first collection of the new VHS-themed collectibles in collaboration with Blockbuster.

Brian Mariotti, Chief Executive Officer of Funko, says:

“For 25 years, Funko has been a fan-first company. This is why San Diego Comic-Con is a pinnacle moment for us every year, as it provides the opportunity to create memorable moments for our fans through larger-than-life activations. With the Funkoville booth being twice as big this year, we look forward to offering an even better way for fans to immerse themselves in their favorite fandoms.”

Also, this year’s Fundays will have a Camp Fundays theme. Fans can enter a variety of contests, participate in exclusive giveaways, meet special guests, and get inside access to new and exciting announcements from Funko and its brands!

In addition to the huge plans at the convention itself, Funko will also offer fans the exclusives from beloved lines via Funko.com, FunkoGames.com, Loungefly.com, and Mondoshop.com.
