GRANRODEO, a two-member rock band known for their numerous anime songs, is set to release their new single “Tetsu no Ori” on August 30, 2023. This song will also serve as the opening theme (OP) for season five of the anime Bungo Stray Dogs. The highly anticipated fifth season of Bungo Stray Dogs is set to air on July 12th.
GRANRODEO and Bungo Stray Dogs
GRANRODEO’s songs have been used for the openings of Bungo Stray Dogs seasons one and three. The track for season one is titled, “TRASH CANDY.” The track for season three is titled, “Setsuna no Ai.” Kisho Taniyama, the vocalist of the group, is the Japanese voice actor for Chuuya Nakahara in the series.
The title track of GRANRODEO’s newest album, “Tetsu no Ori,” was partially revealed in the second promotional trailer for season five. It beautifully captures the theme of unwavering determination in the face of despair. It is a perfect match for the anime’s world.
The new album will be available for purchase in three different formats. There will be a Limited First Edition, a Standard Edition, and an Anime Edition. The anime edition features a Bungo Stray Dogs illustration on the cover. The Limited First Edition comes with a Blu-ray containing a “Tetsu no Ori” music clip and the final performance of the GRANRODEO LIVE TOUR 2022, “Question,” held at Zepp DiverCity on June 5.
Also, the album’s artwork has been revealed. As seen above, the artist photo features a stylish design with GRANRODEO’s two members standing back to back. The jacket visuals combine a monochrome design with subtle shades of color for a visually striking composition.
