Gundam Hathaway Gets Guns N’ Roses PV and New Key Visual

To commemorate the Japanese release of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, Bandai Namco Filmworks has released a special promotional video featuring the ending theme song “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses. The PV premiered on the official Gundam YouTube channel, Gundam Channel International.

The use of Guns N’ Roses’ iconic track, perfectly matched to the story’s emotional weight, further amplifies the epic scale of Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. The footage is packed with beautifully animated scenes and highlights. Including a notable glimpse of the newly introduced mobile suit TX-ff104 ALYZEUS.

The promotional video highlights the protagonist, Hathaway Noa’s, inner conflict as he struggles to move on from his unresolved feelings for Gigi Andalucia. At the same time, Gigi’s mysterious power—one that may influence the course of the war—continues to grow, as do her feelings for Hathaway. The PV allows viewers to sense how their relationship increasingly shapes both their personal journeys and the larger conflict surrounding them.

New Key Visual Revealed

A second key visual for Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe has also been unveiled. Set at Ayers Rock (Uluru) in Australia, the location of the climactic battle is in this second chapter. The dynamic visual captures a tense moment just before Hathaway’s XI Gundam and Lane Aim’s TX-ff104 ALYZEUS clash with beam sabers. The image delivers a strong sense of immediacy and intensity, emphasizing the high stakes of the upcoming confrontation.

What to know about TX-ff104 ALYZEUS

The TX-ff104 ALYZEUS is a mobile suit hastily developed for Lane Aim as a training unit for Flight Form’s high-speed flight. It served as a temporary machine until the Penelope was formally deployed, with its primary configuration being Flight Form.

The unit’s core is a modified RX-94 Mass Production Type Nu Gundam, while its exterior repurposes parts from prototype units built during testing phases of Penelope’s development. The ALYZEUS’s most distinctive feature is the installation of twenty Shelf Nozzles across its body.

As an alternative to the Minovsky Flight Unit, the Shelf Nozzles employ a plasma jet engine–based propulsion system utilizing older engine technology that does not rely on I-Field systems. When operated in parallel, these Shelf Nozzles allow the TX-ff104 ALYZEUS to achieve high-speed flight performance comparable to the Penelope.
