Hamilton Film Discussion with Taylor Deatherage from Logan Arch

On Friday, July 3rd, Taylor Deatherage of Logan Arch and Chicago TARDIS joined Temple of Geek’s Maddie Morrow on Instagram Live to discuss the Hamilton Film! This is your general spoiler warning. We will be discussing a lot of different aspects of the show.

Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, Hamilton is an 11-time-Tony Award®-, GRAMMY Award®-, Olivier Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning stage musical. It was brought to homes around the world on July 3, 2020, by the Walt Disney Company and debuted on the Disney Plus Platform. The musical is based on the life of one of America’s Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton is known for being a Constitutional Convention delegate, author of the Federalist Papers, and the first secretary of the U.S. treasury.

Hamilton cast in the filmed original Broadway production — Daveed Diggs is the Marquise de Lafayette, Okieriete Onaodowan is Hercules Mulligan, Lin-Manuel Miranda is Alexander Hamilton, Leslie Odom, Jr. is Aaron Burr, and Anthony Ramos is John Luarens in HAMILTON, the filmed version of the original Broadway production
