Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, creators/writers
The Parlapanides brothers created and executive produced the animated series Blood of Zeus (formerly known as Gods & Heroes) for Netflix. The show premiered on October 27, 2020, and stars Jason O’Mara (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Mamie Gummer (True Detective), Derek Phillips (Friday Night Lights), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Jessica Henwick (Matrix 4), Melina Kanakaredes (The Resident), Claudia Christian (Babylon 5), and Elias Toufexis (The Expanse). Their other projects include Death Note (2017), Immortals (2011), and Everything for a Reason (2000).
Before writing professionally, Vlas worked on Oppenheimer’s Foreign Equity Desk, while Charley worked as an assistant to producer Scott Rudin. The brothers are part of a large Greek-American family and originally hail from Seaside Park, NJ. Both brothers went on to study economics and theater in college. Vlas graduated from Villanova University, while Charley graduated from Swarthmore College and Loyola Law School.
Cissy Jones, voice actor
Cissy Jones is an award-winning actress whose voiceover career spans animation, video games, and more. She is best known for her BAFTA-Award-winning performance in the 2016 indie game Firewatch, as Lilith Clawthorne in Disney’s The Owl House, and nine separate characters in Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Game series, including Katjaa, Jolene, and Norma.
When not creating beloved characters, she lends her voice to more serious projects such as the Academy-Award-nominated documentary Winter on Fire, as well as national commercials, feature film trailers, and network promos.
