It’s very exciting to have Kayden Phoenix returning to San Diego Comic-Con with a new lineup of comic books featuring Native and Latina princesses. Phoenix’s first series, A La Brava, was a groundbreaking success. The series features the first-ever Latina superhero team in comic book history. During a recent episode of the Portrait of a Fangirl Podcast Phoenix spoke to host Jenna Wrenn about her journey. And what inspired her to create the first Latina superhero team.
