Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin

Prince Kinnikuman, hailing from the planet Kinnikusei, endured ridicule from humans as a useless Chojin. However, after miraculously winning the Chojin World Cup twice, he rose to become a central figure among the Seigi Chojin, protectors of universal peace. Alongside comrades like Terryman and Robin Mask, Kinnikuman vanquished the forces of Akuma Chojin and Perfect Chojin.

His victories culminated in winning the “Survival Match for the Kinnikusei Throne,” leading to his coronation as the 58th Great King of Kinnikusei. He returned home, married, and seemingly retired from fighting.

But a year and a half later, a new threat emerges to disrupt the supposed peace…

Based on the popular manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, the “Kinnikuman” TV anime first aired in 1983 and became a social phenomenon, spawning the popular “Kinkeshi” capsule toys. Now, Production I.G., known for works like “Ghost in the Shell,” “Kuroko’s Basketball,” and “Haikyuu!!”, delivers this animated sequel, the first in 32 years.
