San Diego Comic-Con is once again around the corner! And with the Con taking place during the day, many attendees will be exploring San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter looking for the best nerd-themed nightlife. Many of last year’s parties are making their return, with plenty more to come. San Diego Comic-Con 2024 takes place from July 25th to the 28th, and each night has some fun after parties and various nightlife activities to attend, with geeky themes for all fandoms and communities. Ready Party One: Legends of Fantasy
As is tradition, Ready Party One kicks off SDCC with a bang! Taking place once again at the vibrant Parq Nightclub, the Legends of Fantasy party is an 80’s-themed romp through classics of the era like The Princess Bride and Labyrinth. Also in attendance as usual will be the Flux Capacitors cover band, who have been a hit at these parties for years.

Hosnian Prom: The Bash
Featuring special guests and performances from across the Star Wars fandom, the Bash at Wicked West is one you won’t want to miss. Ticket sales benefit the Starlight Children’s Foundation, but attendees can also enjoy an open bar, catering, and even some geeky swag!
When: Thursday July 25th, 6PM-11PM

Anti-Hero After Party
Bring your best anti-hero cosplay for the Anti-Hero After Party. The second night of Parq Nightclub’s Comic-Con festivities, this one is sure to bring the heat with a Deadpool Dance Off and performances by the band For the Girls.

5th Annual Comic-Con Themed Bar Crawl
Get a full taste of the legendary Gas Lamp Quarter with the 5th Annual Comic-Con Comic-Con Themed Bar Crawl! Mosey your way through downtown San Diego with con-goers and locals alike. Badges aren’t required, tickets are reasonable, and the drinks are flowing! Cosplay highly encouraged.
When: Friday July 26th and Saturday July 27th, 8PM – 2AM.

PartyPocalypse
Live your best post-apocalyptic life, once again at Parq Nightclub! Bring your best Fallout, The Last of Us, and Mad Max vibes, and party like it’s the end of the world! Because it is.

Mosh Eisley: The Best Party in the Galaxy
What do you get when you mix Emo Nite with Star Wars? You get Mosh Eisley, featuring early 2000’s pop punk and emo classics, cosplayers, themed drinks, and more. The event is put on by Thank the Maker Podcast at various ‘Cons around the country, featuring members of bands like Bayside and Story of the Year.
When: Friday July 26th at 9pm (doors at 8pm).
Where: The Music Box, 1337 India Street.
