Los Angeles Comic Con (LACC) has been a safe haven for nerds for years, giving them access to their favorite talent and an incredible alley of artists. This year is no different except one could say that it’s bigger and better than ever. There is a lot in store for fans this year including special guests, incredible comic book artists and interactive gaming exhibits. 

Los Angeles Comic Con 2024

This October, fans from all over Los Angeles will get to see an Addams Family reunion, featuring Anjelica Houston, Christopher Lloyd, Chrisina Ricci, Carel Struycken, and Jimmy Worksman. There will be a Back to the Future reunion, featuring Christopher Lloyd, Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, and Thomas Wilson. Special guests Hayden Panettiere, Hayden Christenson, Ewan McGregor, Rosario Dawson, and more will also be making appearances.

The mainstage will also be home to the 9th annual National Cosplay Championship. Creative and talented cosplayers will compete for a $25,000 cash prize and others in three different categories. Young cosplayers will also get the chance to walk the stage in the kids’ costume contest for children 12 and under. 

IGN has partnered with LACC, and they will be streaming live from the South Hall main stage all weekend. All of LACC’s gaming, entertainment, and anime content will be hosted by IGN platforms. Fans all over the world will be able to interact with the incredible events that will be happening October 4th-6th. 

LACC is also introducing a new “organized play” activation this year. This activation is specifically engineered to suit diverse gaming passions. There is going to be something for everyone from Street Fighter to Mario Kart. As always, there will be a freeplay zone where people can play their favorite games as well as some new releases. 

Los Angeles Comic Con is shaping up to be an incredible experience this year. Chris DeMoulin, CEO of LACC, says, “Every year, it’s our goal to give attendees the most diverse, eclectic, and inspiring show that lets them rediscover why they’re fans in the first place.” He goes on to say that this year’s guests are some of their most requested.
