Magic: The Gathering just released a new set that brings a fresh blend of mechanics, creatures, and stunningly detailed illustrations. Lorwyn Eclipsed is taking players back to the Lorwyn-Shadowmoor plane, which debuted in 2007. This set showcases a range of warm, vibrant, pastoral illustrations reflecting Lorwyn. Additionally, for illustrating Shadowmoor, they seamlessly shift into darker, gothic themes. Lorwyn Eclipsed highlights tribal synergies and color-focused themes to emphasize the relationship between two sides, like the sun and the moon.

The Jim Henson Company played a role in promoting the latest set by creating a fun puppet music video. The whimsical and fun tune was a great opening act for a set packed with incredible artists. Lorwyn Eclipsed features a total of 20 “papercut” Special Guests cards: 10 from Lorwyn and 10 from Shadowmoor.
